Packaging for India’s First Luxury Chocolates.
Fabelle is India’s first indigenous luxury chocolate brand. It is serviced out of their flagship boutiques placed in high end ITC hotels.
Our task was to design packaging for Fabelle’s boxed range of chocolates “Fabelle Exquisite”, that complimented the brand’s personality, exuded luxury and most importantly was distinguished in any setting i.e. “Unmistakably Fabelle.”
The graphic language needed to be balanced with focus on the brand and what’s inside without distractions, the bold logo complimented by an elegant sans-serif typeface used for product descriptions served that purpose.
Next, we needed the form factor to compliment the personality. Loaning inspiration from contemporary jewellery boxes, we wanted to create slim long lines for its profile. Imported Kappa board was used for rigidity, besides achieving a mere 20mm in height and a tuck-in format used to close the box instead of the conventional magnet to avoid any unnecessary addition to its profile. All contributing perfectly to its elegance.
Finally, the touch & feel needed to reiterate the experience of the boutique. We used two special papers i.e. Plyke Brown & Gold Antique Stardream for texture and contrast to ensure the experience was unique and unforgettable.
The result? From the time someone lays their sight on Fabelle’s Exquisite packs the graphic design, its form factor and finally its touch ensures the experience is “Unmistakably Fabelle.”
Packaging for Fabelle Chocolate Bars.
After having made its dramatic entrance with a world class Chocolate Boutique and one-of-its-kind boxed products, Fabelle next wanted to venture into the chocolate bar category.
Unlike the earlier products which were sold exclusively from Chocolate Boutiques at ITC Luxury Hotels, these were to be retailed through multi branded outlets. Despite the format and the accessibility, the packaging had to be inimitably Fabelle, upholding its promise of delivering luxurious and unique chocolate products.
The latest offerings - Hazelnut Mousse and Dark Choco Mousse are soft-centered bars, filled with mousse inspired by rich desserts delivering a sensorial experience. Designs drew inspiration from plated desserts.
